The Intarwebz and Randomly Important Stuff
Yup, I have long ago given in to the fact that the internet owns my soul. It's kind of bad really. When you think about the amount of time I spend on the internet, verses the amount of stuff that I get DONE on the internet, I feel a little bit like a lazy bum. But a very very happy lazy bum! ^_^ With really slow college internet...
Soooo.... what's going on in my life? Oh yeah, forgot to write about that! So, over Spring break the guy who took me to prom asked me out, to take me to the movies. Now, this is the first time I've ever been asked out, and while I don't really like the guy in an attracted way anymore, he's a good friend and a nice guy, so I decided to give him a chance. So off I was to my first date. I called him a couple times that day and left him two messages....
And he never showed up. :P Yup, that's right, I got stood up to my first date. I'm not really bitter, I think it's funny more than anything else right now. I mean, it's gonna be a fantastic story to tell the kids someday. And I find it amusing that while I'm okay with it, it tends to get a rather violent or passionate response from others. ^_^ I'll admit, I was upset that evening, but we went and rented Heartbreakers and got fried ice cream, and everything was better. Amazing what sweets can do, huh?
I miss salad... A lot. The salad in the cafeteria isn't even worth attempting, which I finally learned after about my 30th try. All I want is a good Ceasar Salad!!! *mouth waters*
And in other news, I have realized there are people online who I want to be friends with, but I'm too shy/cowardly to actually admit about it. Hmmm. I should fix that, but that would involve me actually *gasp* INTERACTING WITH PEOPLE! Egads, I don't think I can handle it. :P
