Writing and Reading and Exercising, Oh MY!
Ugh.... Another week has come, and I'm STILL not on the schedule... also, have not gotten a call from the other places I've applied. This is starting to really upset me. :( I need money...
But, on a good note, starting tomorrow, I'm going to once more get to work on editing my book. It's my goal to send it in to one or two (or several!) publishers by the end of the summer. I'd really like to get it published, and I think if I REALLY work on it, I could have a chance. The people who've read it have really encouraged me, so... cross my fingers, right? I'm not expecting anything, but getting started on the publishing game is one step closer. And I have to be optimistic!
I have remembered that you never, ever go jogging without stretching first. I've been paying for my jog yesterday all day today, and it is NOT fun. The blister bandaids, however, ARE fun. They make me giggle, the texture is so weird!! It's like some kind of latex skin. :P
About to start reading American Gods, by Neil Gaiman, and I'm really looking forward to it. I've heard it's really good, and I've read some of his other stuff (Good Omens, some Sandman, etc), so... I'm really excited!
And, las but not least, I'm geeking out on watching X-Men Evolution. The first season of which is apparently all posted to YouTube! So I'm recapturing my childhood. The first show (Inuyasha being the second), that I ever started turning on the tv to watch, instead of watching it because it was on tv. I was a tv deprived child, it was exciting. And I know it seems uber creepy, but Kurt is STILL adorable. I had such a crush on Nightcrawler, it was insane. ^_^
