My Trip to David's...

Feb 20, 2004 15:58

Here are the things I tried on when Katrina and I went to David's yesterday:

This one is one of my favorites. Katrina really liked it on me... it's got beautiful detailing and it's not too much. It matched well with the new MOH dress we found for her. :)

I never wanted to try on those fluffy looking dresses, but I changed my mind last night. It really looked cute!! I like the other one with the fluff better, though.

I liked the simpleness of this dress, but I didn't LOVE the way the strapless looks on me.

Here is the fluffy one that I liked a lot. It may be too much for me, but it did look REALLY cute!!

This one is almost identical to the one that Katrina's sister had for her wedding. I liked it, but something about it made it sit funny around my waist. It made me look a LOT slimmer, though.

Here is one I tried on a LONG time ago, but never posted it. It's pretty and gives me a waist. I like that.
And, here is the dress that we found that Katrina will probably be wearing. It will be in the color on the right. I like it better in person than on the models.

I may just have her wear this one, and then have the rest of girls in the Dessert Coral color in the plain dresses (in all one style). OR if I go with a two-tone dress, like the champagne/ivory one (sidenote: I tried on a new one thats not in the catalog or online yet- but it's strapless and beautiful. It's got the two-tone feel with some beading on the bodice and a VERY simple bottom with just a wide satin cham. colored ribbon at the bottom-I'll post pics when I can!!) then they'll be wearing the champagne dresses still. Katrina tried the strapless style and it looked AWESOME on her. She's never worn it before, but it looked great. The rest sucked.... some actually looked TERRIBLE and I wanted her to get them off just as fast as she did!! Haha.

In other news: We booked our reception hall and ceremony site!! It's Tina's Country House in Macomb on North Ave between 22 and 23 mile roads. We love it to pieces and are sooo excited to get married in the garden. If you want to see pictures,

More details later! Til then... BYE Ya'll!
