Tell me if you've heard the one about the Frenchman, the Brit and the American who were all captured by cannibals....
The cannibals told them that they were going to kill them, eat their meat and turn their hids into canoes. "But we will give you the choice of how you want to die," the chief of the cannibals said.
The Frenchman said, "I choose ze pistol!" The cannibal chief had his guards produce an old pistol, and they gave it to the Frenchman so that he could shoot himself. The Frenchman shouted "Vive la France!" and shot himself in the head.
The natives agreed that the Frenchman had showed great courage in how he met his end, and they gave the same choice to the Brit, who also said, "I choose the pistol as well." They gave him the pistol, and the Brit shouted out "God Save the Queen," then put the pistol to his head and shot himself.
Again, the natives agreed that he had shown great courage. They went at last to the American, who was given a choice of how he wanted to die, thereafter to be eaten and have his hide turned into a canoe. The American growled out, "Gimme a FORK!"
"A fork?" the chief asked, stunned.
"Yeah, you heard me, I want a FORK."
The chief had his guards produce a fork, which they gave to the American. The Yank proceeded to stab himself with the fork, all over his body, shouting "Screw you, canoe!"
