Is it better to think the best of everything, and cope with disappointment when the best doesn't happen, or better to think the worst, so that every time something goes your way you get a pleasant surprise?
I guess it's just like most other things. Middle ground is always pretty cool, but then I think you just have to seek the joy in your life and the things that make life worth living. Love what you love, even if it might go wrong? Is there any happiness without allowance for it? Would the things that make you happy, make you happy, if you expected them to make you sad?
I think the first is probably the better of the options, but then I know it doesn't work that way all the time... like with movies. You can love just about every movie in the world if you have low expectations. Maybe that's a seemingly thin example, but it's the best I can come up with right now...
I really have to stop writing in this so late at night. My tired brain get's overly artsy or something... :/ Impending school's making my brain go absolutely wonky too.
Word challenge is really helping out my spelling... lol
