last night, was a friday night. and usually, on friday nights, i sit at home bonding with mom or dad. but this friday, i wanted to go to the irving grange show. multi-colored stemware, see link below...
http://www.purevolume.com/multicoloredstemware
is one of the bands i saw there. we only stayed for.. an hour and a half, we showed up an hour late, but got there jsut in time for MCS. i have a sort of friend, jon, the bassist of the band, and my other friend ryan, who i may have a fancy for? he was in the band, but he went to the show to support his old band, which is cool. you can go to the purevolume site, and see pictures, the one in the middle is from the irving grange, where the show was. it's kind of like this big open room, where i think old ladies play bingo. but, nonetheless, it was cool. nobody really got into the music though, i thought there would be dancing, or moving of some sort.. but.. nothing, people jsut stood aroudn, watching the band, talking to each other. it was cool i guess, but not what i'm used to. i went with kelsey, which was cool. we hung out with her friends, who aren't the kind of people i would expect at a concert like that, but i had fun. im most definetely going to try and mosy on over to their next show.

i got my haircut. pictures? allright.

my mom thinks its edgy.

later this weekend, up on the agenda, babysitting tonight for 3 hours, later tonight after 8, perhaps a movie. tomorrow, kelsey and her pal, my sort of pal, lizzie, might come over and we're going to be geeks and rent mulan 2 and make mulan cookies in honor of the movie. yes, the sequel will most likely be lame, but i don't care.

ryan's one cool dude. he gave me his book, the phantom tollbooth, kind of a book you would read in 4th or 5th grade, butim almost done with it, and its pretty good. he invited me to his birthday party. the big 1-6. it's going to be at a gymnastics place, and kelsey's little 10 year old sister is going to a party there on the same day. he's a pretty out there kid, but i like out there. his backpack is a rolly suitcase of carebears. i know, gifts aren't required for birthday parties, but he totally envies my rubber duck collection, so i'm going to buy him a green rubber duck, saying he can start his own collection. he really likes the outsiders, as do i, and perhaps i'll get him that book. krissi, he's the type of guy you would most definetely get along with. you would laugh, oodles.

i've made a vow to update more, hopefully that means more will read it. my feet are freezing, i need socks.
