oh...oh. i had a really gruelling day of class and this was such a treat to arrive home to ;~;

i rly like introspective writer!wonwoo, both as a concept and in the execution. wonwoo stepping to the left away from the blast of the fan!! and his hands in his pockets!! and the generally tight way he held himself!! just the premise of him trying to sort of mentally escape but being trapped by real physical constraints was a really awesome opening, and the ending where his journey has kind of been to look for himself but finding something perhaps unexpected is so simple but done so elegantly here.

and i adored junhui in this. i think you said you hadn't written much of him but the appearance of his toothy grin (which irl sometimes doesn't come out for months but always seems to show up around jww...) and asking the unexpected, or in general saying and doing things that might be a little out of the ordinary...that felt so right.

in terms of writing style i love some of the anaphora (in the middle of nowhere) and then the mirrored structures (the middle aged man followed by the young man). i also love repeated imagery! the yellow sun made my skin feel warm and those insect legs felt like they were tickling the inside of my tummy tbh ;~;

that ending - so heart fluttering. i can immediately picture junhui sitting in the car repair shop during down time flipping through the pages for the nth time. what a fantastic snapshot to finish with!

i really feel so lucky to be able to read any of your writing, but to also have it be for one of my favourite pairings, ah, i must have saved a kingdom in a past life to be this blessed ㅠㅠ♡

this is such a late reply but ;~~~; this comment made me feel so warm and happy inside T.T ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

ahhhh i'm so glad! i'm trying to write different wonwoos but i feel like i keep coming back to this kind of introspective wonwoo...i guess this will translate to the wonwoo that will be in that full length wonhui (whenever i get to writing it, prob 2020...laughs nervously)! i love writing road trips and i love wonhui so i was like "LET'S GO!!!" haha!

i'm also relieved to hear that ;;;; i feel like junhui is more of a question mark for me than wonwoo is so i go in saying "i don't know i don't know!" the whole time i'm writing him, other than a few traits T___T so i'm glad that his characterization didn't seem too out of place/strange!!!

and now i kind of...cry lol! i'm glad that the little things here and there i phrased/wrote weren't lost ;~~~;
