Well, let's see if this is going to get me anywhere.

Testing, testing. [the sound of the mic being adjusted, if only slightly]

Right. To everyone listening, or anyone for that matter:  Care to enlighten me about what exactly is going on? It looks like a war zone out there.

That and I'm what you would ( Read more... )

We're all misplaced. And yeah, it is a war zone. Sort of.

Welcome to Manhattan.

Looks a little more than just "sort of" a war zone to me.

You're kidding, right?

Not in the sense that two armies are fighting. We have a monster. And yes, I know, you don't believe it.

I don't kid.

Can you blame me? I just arrived; not much is making sense at the moment.

I can't blame you. I just don't want anyone getting hurt if it can be avoided. There's already enough injured people right now as it is.

Someone got an idea it would be a good idea to make it angry. Half the city got smashed, and so did some of the people in it.

From what I've heard, I can't say I blame them.

Probably. But by taking a look around, it seems like it was a dangerous move to act, as well.

Maybe I should have phrased that better. Not to act stupid. Trying to blow up a huge creature with a temper seems not that bright.

There's not much you can do but act if there's a crab coming towards you.

I'd probably have to agree.

Running in the other direction tends to work wonders.

Usually it would, but they like to ambush. That wouldn't be a problem if the place didn't take away powers and weapons.

I hope you know how to defend yourself.

I think I'd have a problem either way, since I didn't have either of those to begin with.

Do I have a choice?
