Heroes and Harry Potter and Oh My.
I never thought I'd get anything ideas wise from Heroes, but last night it was downright impossible not to and lead me to a realization. Now, I don't know if it's the Shapeshifter thing or the Natalia Tena and the Candice actress kinda look alike-ish thing making Candice physically perfect for Black!Tonks BUT
Evil!Tonks would be the coolest. Thing. Ever.
I hate AU's. Maybe it's because those were the first things I read in The Pit all the way back when. But I always thought the possibility of Bellatrix having been the one to raise Tonks (after killing her mother and all that good stuff) or if Tonks had gone through some Rite of Purification thing and raised a Black would have made for some serious kickass stuff. And the latter would have made for some awesome Sirius/Tonks. I mean. What.
But I have this mental block against AU's that, were I to try and write one, would cause all my limbs to fall off, my eyes to burst in their sockets, all the air immediately around me to become gerbils (that's a lot of gerbil), blood to spray from my nose and the skin to melt off my face as my soul becomes trapped in an eternity of living in the darkest pits of the intrawebs amongst badfic and fluffic and, yes, pop song fic.
Sumise to say, it ain't happening.
