hey dude, read if you want, it is interesting, and is my views if you care
i was inspired by a bunch of things ut mostly one of my buddies tonite to get a lot of stuff off of my chest.
im going to start with religion, which will probably lead into politics
my view of religion has changed a lot since the summer began, i have had a lot of alone time this summer and have definately thought a lot about everything. my current out look is this, i dont consider myself a christian anymore, though my beliefs may be based on that mroe than anything, i believe that there is a god and it is chillin and knows whats goin on. i believe in jesus, and i believe that he was a guy that had it all figured out, he knew what he was doin, and he inspired many to be better people to this day. i believe that a lot of things in the bible are straight up bullshit, like homophobia, if jesus really was the kind of guy he is made out to be, if he hung out with prosstitutes and lepers, then i believe that he would have had absolutely NO problem with gay people, none at all.
i think that people should live their life with morals, and some may be based on religion or some holy book they read, but we can make mistakes, because we all do, and will, and its a good thing, you learn more from those than anything. i do not know much about many other religions or belief systems, but am open to all. i STRONGLY dislike when people think it is okay to diss on other's beliefs, because they have no right at all, if someone wants to believe something, that is fine, no one should say otherwise, it is their life, their mind, their choice.
i guess that brought me to politics, this is all i want to say bout politics for a long time. like i said i do nto like it when poeple say how wrong peoples beliefs are, and it applys to politics, it may be your opinion but who cares. to clear some stuff i will put this is caps: I AM NOT A REPUBLICAN, I WAS NOT A REPUBLICAN, I AM MODERATE, I AHVE SOME LIBERAL, AND SOME CONSERVATIVE VIEWS, AND THT IS OKAY. current situation: fucked up, it is, really, but its reality and we have to deal with it, busha nd his administration have done a bad job, but the main reason i was a tiny bit more for him than kerry was that it would have fucked things up if we switched presidents during a war, it would have gotten worse, or at least i think it would have. and though i am completely against the war, i think that we need to stay in there and finish the job, becuase we started it.
when it comes to a leader, it is not the fact that bush is a republican that he does the things he does, it is because he at so the complete right side of the political spectrum, when it comes down to it, we need someone who is either democrat or republican that is more centered, hilary clinton would just be just as bad, because she is soooo left, 50% or more of the country would not like her, me and my friend andrew talked about this for a long time, and we decided that someone like john mccain would do a really good job at being president. he does what he thinks is rigth all of the time, even if he votes against all of his fellow republicans, and that is something we need, if everyone votes according to their party... well this country is even more fucked up than i thought.
and just to humor andrew i cam going to do a part abour cars. i drive a jeep, a 1999 jeep grand cherokee limited, with a 4.7 L V8, i like to drive my jeep, to me it is practical, because i leave a lot of stuff in my car because of having 2 houses. apparently some people dont like that i drive an SUV, im sorry if i make you mad, but like i said it is practical for my interests (drums, snowboarding, driving my firends), and i like how it looks, drives and sounds, this is my decision to drive it, and i hope that you can respect that.
i like to play drums they are fun, i play piano too that is also fun. music is cool and i love to listen, local bands, mtv bands, whatever i like the sound of and/or is talented. i respect all music except some rap, because it isnt talented. i like rock music the most, and i also agree that there are an amazingly large amount of bad rock bands, its true, oh well, but what i do like is what sounds good/cool, and takes talent to do.
