Summer Job
So I started my summer job today. I ended up getting a pretty sweet job working at the San Diego County Fair. I'm working in the fine arts department helping to run the art show at the fair. So we're taking in literally a thousand works of art, catergorizing them, and then have them judged. Lots of fun. Lots of excellent works of art and lots of maybe not so excellent works of "art". But anyways. It should be a lot of fun. The people that I'm working with are awesome and the "labor" isn't very hard at all, it's actually a lot of fun. I'm staying at my aunt and uncle's house in La Jolla, California. Very, very nice place, so I'm actually making my bed for a change. : ) Haven't had much time to relax yet, and believe it or not I haven't been to the beach yet. Don't worry I will. Tomorrow I will be in search of a YMCA as I definitely will need to stay on top of my workout program for football, and at some point I need to figure out how I'm going to run also. But I'll figure that out later. This Saturday, Kassie will be done at Biola so I will be driving up to Los Angeles in order to pick her up and take her back to my uncle's. That should be interesting. I'm kinda looking forward to relaxing more but its hard to relax when you really aren't comfortable where you are. It's just sorta weird not being at home where you are comfortable and it's is especially weird being in a different place with no one who is close to you. Once Kassie gets here I definitely will feel more comfortable and more "at home" but until then it just feels really weird. My aunt and uncle just got two kittens this past weekend and they are awesome. I love kittens. Anyways, I start working tomorrow at 11 so I'll find that Y at some point.
