Live journal is dying and I've started to post on xanga. What is the world coming to? If it wasn't for Ajay I probably wouldn't post here at all.
I went to New Braunfels and San Antonio this weekend. The TMEA convention was in San Antonio and I wanted to go. Ashley was going to go anyway sicne Mandi's mom is a teacher and was giving a clinic, and they both live in New Braunfels anyway.
So late late Thursday night we headed out, and got into Ashley's house around 3 am. I was shown my home in the pool house, and we soon went to sleep
Because we had to get up early on Friday. We got up, had some breakfast, then picked up Mandi and her brother and headed to SA. TMEA was pretty awesome. The exibits are awesome, and I got to play all sorts of cool instruments, including a full set of recorders. We ate at the Rainforest Cafe for lunch, which was good.
Saturday we went back, this time with Ashley's brother instead of Mandi's for some more fun. Came home and watched tv with Ashley's family, who are awesome by the way.
Sunday we left, being careful of the ice along the way and got back around 7pm. Ashley and I came back and watched the All Star game, which was pretty good except for the whacky ending. A Tmac lasat minute winning shot would have sealed his MVP.The dunk contest, which we watched, was also pretty cool.
All in all it was a great weekend. Ashley's family was awesome, TMEA was awesome, I'm awesome...everything's just awesome.
Oh and I turn 21 on Wednesday.
