Room of Light; The King's Chambers [tag Minnie]
It was almost like a maze, trying to get out of the Nexus, but the king walked forward, in near silence, Minnie's hand held firmly in his own. Through varying streets, hallways, directions, lights, and darkness, he walked forward, almost as if knowing the paths between the worlds by heart. Had he really been gone so long, as to know such alien things so well?
A few more turns.. Long, endless, but only to the naked eye, and the familiar sight of the castle gardens blurred into view, the world's gentle moon shining over the two mice, guardian beams all but calming in comparison to the darkness they had just exited. The mouse king swept his wife clear off her feet at this point, and walking through castle halls that seemed almost foreign to him--their hallways diagramed into some faded part of his memory--he made his way towards their shared chambers. Placing Minnie on the bed, he finally stopped, taking in a deep breath of air as he stood before her, his eyes full of concern, and loving kindness. Finally, Mickey spoke.
"Are you allright, Minnie?"
