Ta Daaa
Last night was TONZ of fun!
It was, for lack of a better word, my company picnic. They invited everyone and their family to attend a Grasshopper's baseball game and fed us hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, slaw, chips and cookies. The best part was my Abi was able to meet me there and we stayed until after 9:00 when he had to head back to work. It was lots of fun :o) And i got to show him off to all the folks i know from work. i just love that he likes people and can talk to just anyone. :o>
Then it was home and i did some more canning. 4 jars of tomato sauce, 4 jars of bread and butter pickles and 2 jars of blueberry pie filling.
Yesterday i had my mom and dad over for dinner and i made a yellow cake with chocolate icing using the new KitchenAid :o>
i was so enjoying watching the mixer work that i over did the icing a wee bit. So it was VERY puffy but still yummy.
Tonight we are off to dinner with fun people that my Abi works with and then i am heading home to start in on the house. It's not too bad but i want to sort through mail and get things that need picked up picked up and put in their place. AND i am hoping to get the windows cleaned before heading to dinner.
We had new windows put in last spring and they are the kind that tilt in for easy cleaning. When we were looking at different places to do the work, one man said "no one ever cleans their windows". I just looked at him and said "Oh i will". And i have lol. I try to give them a cleaning once every three or four months weather they need it or not. Usually, they do.
Hmm i'm very hyper this morning for some reason. Guess that explains the babbling on and on. LOL
