A very special prayer
The Irish Blessing
May the road rise up to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face
The rains fall soft upon your fields
And until we meet again
May the Lord hold you in the palm of his hand

That is a prayer that is very close to my heart and when my mother passed away, I had cards made with the blessing in her memory.
I wish only happy thoughts of our ancestory to all my fellow Irish men and women. Don't forget the hardships of our past but celebrate how far we have come.
