Requiem for my beloved car
Went and looked at my car today. It looks like I finally killed it. We went through some tough times, me and that car. It didn't deserve what it got. But it'll live on, admittidly in pieces. It was a good little car, very tolerant, very reliable. I shall miss it a lot. We should hear a final ruling from the insurance company as to if it's fixable (with more than 130,000 mile on it, it's looking extremely doubtful) The roof is smashed in and it looks like the axel might me bent, the door is broken and the hood is a mess. Windshield and driverside window are smashed too. My parents took me to the impound yard to see my broken baby, and then to the Honda dealership to test drive new cars. That's how bleak the outlook is. Incidentally, I wrenched my shoulder and cut my head. All in all, it's been a kinda traumatic couple of days. And now we have but one car. For 3 of us.
