Iv not updated this with anything meaningfull in a hell of a long time.
Friday was amazing. It was Chois birthday and the Shermer/Machines Will Take Over show at the Brown Cow. So much fun! Both of those bands were really good and such nice guys. Hung out with them all after the gig drinking Latvian vodka and Beer at Red Planet, all i can really remember from that is 'Sack or Shaft' and lots of mangina. Good times.
Saturday was Ponce in Derby. Went down with Choi and his lovely lady. All the bands were dogshit except for some band called Mothers who were the best thing about it. Missed The Little Explorer because of the rain and me wanting to find shelter. Oh well. It was just nice to hang out with the two of them to be honest and just relax. Although when i got home my hayfever kicked in pretty bad and i couldnt sleep much.
Yesterday was Chopfest! Yes! All the bands were fucking great, except for Dead Sea Fuckin' Scrolls, they had some technical difficulties and they were pretty good last time i saw them so ill let them off haha. Violent Breakfast were incredible in the pool room. Really kicked off for them and everyone was loving it. Mega day in all and well done to Tom for pulling it off. Hes a good lad.
In general im ok., nothing amazing, id quite like a nice, pretty girlfriend around about now. That would make me happy. Its unlikely this will happen though.
I think i have a few London folks on this thing so if your interested, ill be down your way on Friday and Saturday this week. If anyone wants to meet up that would be nice.
