Whoa, we are in the middle of a high wind advisory and I just got back from picking up Preeya from work. That was wild out there on the highway - the rain is creating dangerous driving conditions for sure - way too much water pelting down - rather crazy! I am sure that there is going to be a lot of damage for the boats moored. Tomorrow morning I expect to hear about trees coming down. Let us all hope that this passes before I have to be out there for the 3 hour jaunt in the morning!
I ended up getting the insurance for the house changed over today. One less thing. I learned something about earthquake damage though - if your house falls I would have to come up with the first 11,500.00 to rebuild. If the land went - I would have to buy another lot somewhere before they would rebuild. I laughed and cut off the earthquake clause for $90.00 a year. I told them that if my foundation cracked I could get my house lifted up for $10,000 and put a new floor in since I am only one story right now, so why would I pay $11,500 to get a couple of cracks fixed. Silly insurance policies - a rip off for sure. I also asked what happens if people's houses landed on my property who gets to pay to get them off? That was a good question. Insurance pays for the house, not the property. We laughed alot with the insurance agent - it was hilarious as we came up with different equations. I told them that the earthquake could take my house as long as it didn't touch my land, cause my land was worth more than the house!
Anyhow, I just snapped this pic quickly before the duo were settling down for the night. I will post more when they are up and running around over the weekend. The siamese are taking to them, except for the newest, Boo, who is totally jaded and flattens his ears like some sort of plane. He is so irritated that he won't come off of his pillow that is on top of the kitten kennel.
As for names, not sure yet. Might be Jean Louie for the male and Pina for the girl .... there is loads of time to decide....Every time that I call Jean Louie - that little guy comes bolting over .... kind of funny. You are seeing the little girl here in the pic - the boy, as boy do well ... is going to sleep first! LOL!
