Well, the theme was "out of the box" trying something new, taking chances. And i barely do any Harry Potter icons so, by that, i think i'm already taking chances. The screen caps from Harry Potter are very different from the ones i usually work with, the lighting of british/european movies is actually different from most of american/asian shows, movies (which are the ones i usually work with). I tried a little bit of everything, maybe my entry isn't cohesive because of it, but in some places i can see a pattern. I tried new colorings (more ... how can i say ? soft colorings) and new ways of making icons, i played a little with shadows and lightning. I even attempted some color blocking! And used some text/text textures and varied croppings (like close cropping, side cropping) I don't know if i'll stick with this, but i must say i really liked the tone of brown/orange in some of these icons. "Soft coloring" (idk how people say this, hope you guys get what i'm talking about :3) is really pretty and i wish i could do this more often but it's a challenge for me, i think i'll try more, because i really enjoyed doing these icons (:
