Dawn had been running the past five blocks, wanting to make it home before Buffy did. She carefully slipped off her shoes, and slowly tiptoed in. She then went into the kitchen and tucked the food items into the cupboard. No one ever asked how food was always there, and no one ever tried to take the credit, so she knew that was safe. She then slipped quietly into the study area, and put the volumes that she had traded Clem for on to a lower bookcase, so Giles would see them in the morning.
Good job Dawnie.. You made it back, you go the food, a few of the books and you’re not dead.” She said to herself, out loud, as she turned to go into the living room.
Dawn froze as she heard Xander’s unhappy voice behind her. “Crap” she said to herself. She turned around, her long wavy hair hiding most of face as she looked at him.
‘Well I traded some of your junk food for them. Giles was saying he need more information, and well I went and I got what he needed. Is that so bad?” Dawn said, softly biting her lower lip as she stepped closer to him.
“and yeah I what time it is, and I also know that someone is back in town.” She grinned impishly at Xander.
“Want to guess who?”
