yea. see i think that's also what makes you and me different. I never specifically owned any game console until the Gamecube came out. The Super Nintendo, the Nintendo 64 were things my dad bought for both me and my brother. And then like, with the exception of about 6 PS1 titles (3 crash bandicoots, 3 spyro lol) none of the older games on the consoles were mine either. D: (er, well lion king on snes was mine hahahaha) but i mean with ps3 like all the shit i buy is shit i want. ITS FOR ME.
but i mean i have liked some series and skipped their collector editions. i mean, i skipped killzone 3...and I ALMOST skipped Uncharted 3...in fact I probably would have had that commercial with Nolan North not come out. (srsly lol) don't get me wrong though, I do like games...:"D For sure. I just haven't played as many as people that have been gaming forever. Since I mean before when I was younger I only had access to games my dad/brother bought.......or like the faggy animal platforming games I bought w/ my allowance (I SAVED FOR WEEKS TO BUY SPYRO. IT WAS THE FIRST GAME I EVER BOUGHT)
plus i can spend so freaking long enjoying a game i currently have that i don't need to buy 900 more. also.....not that kind of budget LOL. but then i spend that extra budget buying shirts and figurines anyway. :| NOT SURE IF ITS MUCH BETTER.
i think you could pick a series specific collection if you wanted...:'D But you'd have to make it series you super love. tbh I'm still not sure how mine became inFamous but now that it is I can't see it being anything else... even though I do have some "side collections" as it were.
lol i actually just went back to my account and added a bunch of shit to it.. but now you've brought up a good point..since it doesn't have a databse then everyone's list isnt going to be the same. Like, for me, I've listed just Deus Ex ... buuuuuuut it has DLC with seperate trophies too... i didn't think to list them seperately but since you have then our lists wouldn't compare. So I guess that kind of makes it like :s I just like having things consistent! The downfall of a database is making sure all the obscure shit is listed though. Seems like most sites I've joined with databases none of them have Lumines: Supernova and I always have to suggest it. ;-; i swear im the only person that plays it.
Playfire weirded out and said I played a game before when I didn't earn any trophies, and I got excited and thought maybe the tracking worked... but it doesn't look like it has. o_O I mean, its not happened to me again. I wish sony allowed it too. Or at least let playfire have us manually post what games we are playing like it used to. ;-;
still hoping they add back "favorite games" and stuff like that to the site. Its so impersonal for a "social network" site. seems like its been forever since they added a feature anyone cares about. ._.
