Chocolate-flavored Skittles: intriguing and not really that bad. The vanilla ones are a bit too sweet, though.
Apparently there's a media studies major here. I can't find it on the list, but if it's true then I think I might switch to that.
Cheap And Cheerful by the Kills is such a good song oh man. I've been listening to that, U.R.A. Fever, and Come Around by M.I.A. so much lately. Midnight Boom's pretty solid overall. I got the leak of the new Young Knives album and I've listened to about half of it.
Tonight I caught up on Skins 2x03. Was the line "I have nipples like creme caramels, yeah?" seriously in there? I LOVE HOW WELL THIS SHOW CAPTURES THE WAY NORMAL PEOPLE TALK, GUYS. I need to get around to 2x04 because it sounds even more *~intense~*.
I wrote three pages of stream-of-consciousness/free association stuff tonight to get back into the writing habit, as I'm going to try and achieve my goal of writing a screenplay. I asked Ben to be my co-writer and he agreed, so who knows where that'll lead. We went to Wendy's and I let him read the stream-of-consciousness ramble and he seemed to genuinely like it (or at least parts of it), so that was rather nice. I haven't really sat myself down expressly for the purpose of writing in a very long time.
Three people I think are so amazingly cool that I maybe want to be them a little bit, in no order:
--My Mass Media And Society professor. As well as being an encouraging teacher, she's just so intensely knowledgeable.
--Kate Jackson from the Long Blondes. The singing, writing, fab style, doing the sleeve art for all of their releases...she's just overall damn classy.
--VV/Alison Mosshart from the Kills. Even though she chain smokes and looks like she washes her hair once a week. ROCK AND ROLL, MAN.
