I'm feelin the love
Before I take a glorious victory nap at this week ending (actually I have 2 classes tomorrow, but i'm going back to Garland instead), I just wanted to document the extreme niceties I have experienced today.
They say Texas A&M is the friendliest campus around, and I have always agreed with that, but today just proved it!
- A total of 12 Howdys in about a 15 minute walking period
- After I had sneezed twice like I usually do when I walk out into the sun, a girl sitting on a bench on her cell phone stopped her conversation to tell me "Bless You!"
- Some people were playing football and a professor walked by and told them not to poke an eye out, and they proceeded to have a wonderful conversation
- I forgot my ID card and was going to have to go back up to my dorm room to buy food, but this nice fella behind me refused to let me leave and forced me to let him pay for my food and then walked me back to my dorm
-The lady at the C-store gave me free candy yesterday
Sure, we have the crazy Corps of Cadets and are viewed as a cult, but besides that aspect, I love this place! :D
