When In Rome....

Just digging through Google out of boredom. Sometimes you find great gems in the muck.

One Gem is this article from yesterday's Rome News-Tribune. in which you find out how big a laughing stock the local prosecutor's office is in town. After dragging out the simple mistake made by comic shop owner Gordon Lee into full blown criminal charges (with multiple re-filings, mistrials, and seemingly malicious prosecution). Even in the town of Rome they are sick of the national media attention, but more ill with the hypocritical antics of family values witch hunters over slight artistic nudity.
The real joke is that Rome is a town that seems to have no problem with public artistic nudity in statues that tie the Georgia hamlet to rich ancient history of it's more famous Italian classical counterpart's .

Sounds like the citizens of Rome,GA need to do a little ballot box fueled house cleaning of it's embarrassing officials.
