Jetix, the action adventure cartoon and anime block on Toon Disney is advertising Batman: The Animated Series reruns coming soon to its lineup. While I know that the show has been off the air for several years, they don't show it on Cartoon Network, and Kid's WB has the new Batman cartoon on right now. You really have to wonder what the fuck someone at Warner Brothers was thinking. Selling off the syndication rights to B:tAS to the rival network?
The winners are the children, who will once again be able to enjoy the Best Batman Evar! Sandwiched between newer cartoons like Pucca and Super Monkey Hyper whatever. I doubt they might even realize this is an "old show".
Oh lord my son just called me in to show me that Superman: The Animated Series is coming on Toon Disney too! This is nuts! What is next? Superfriends or Scooby Doo?
I'd love to know what comic this came from. It is wrong (and funny) on so many levels.
