Well I am talking about this new found depressing false modesty self deprication that so-called "artists" have these days. For anyone without a good references check out some of the children I have been trying to educate HERE.
Basically it comes down to this. These kids think that Ama is an egotist. Furthermore they think that artists should all be humble ass kissers. I call bullshit.
I am sure you can find many classic examples of depressed artists, no doubt, but the ver essence of art is that you are a CREATOR! You are the fucking GOD!
I do... things are created. How could you not have an ego?
Kids these days are taught to repress themselves as a way to open up themselves... strange. They tell them things like "It is okay to cry" but then tell them "It is not okay to be the best". Fuck that.
You still can be the best, you can still rush your enemies before your feet, you can have an ego, you can rule the world... you kids need to learn things like this have happened and are possible. You need to have dreams and goals. Be fucking proud of yourself and tell others about what you can do.
Otherwise, if you cannot live in this harsh cruel world full of all of us mean people so full of ourselves.... I suggest the next time you go on one of your cutting binges, you just pull the razor down the vein this time, instead of across.
