(no subject)
T-Minus: 12 days until the wedding. I’ve begun getting that uneasy feeling in my insides and I’ve been trying to figure out if it’s apprehension or morning sickness. (Presumably a bit of both - but I’m hopeful) We’ve already begun getting the RSVP’s and everyone’s beginning to discuss those tiny little details of the wedding that I seem to have overlooked. The bottom line: I’m ready for the entire affair to be over with. Excited to see my family and take a break from work for one weekend… but ready for it to be over.
Went to Monica on Saturday and had a complete make over done. She kept the red in my hair and accented it with a toning and streaking for which I’m extremely grateful. It has been ages since I’ve gotten the whole beauty regime and it was well worth the four hours and money spent for the job. *I even have BANGS now!
Bought “The Amityville Horror” (w/ Ryan Reynolds) on a whim and am now regretting the purchase. They barely kept the real plotline and went off on the extremely worn out ‘Indian burial’ storyline. Don’t get me wrong, there were a few scenes that made me jump - a little. Overall, I dig the 1970’S version and the book itself. But, I did score Romero’s new Land of the Dead and a cheesy 80’s vampire movie called ‘Fright Night’ with Chris Sarandon I used to watch religiously when I was little. So, my money’s not completely wasted.
I’ve been experimenting with the digital camera that was given to us as a wedding present lately and the pictures aren’t… too shabby. I guess I just prefer manual cameras to the digitals you get nowadays... they have a certain waiflike quality to them that I admire. As soon as I figure how to download to the internet, pictures all around!
Other than that… trying to keep my head and doing my best to catch up on everyone’s entries. Good luck to those in Florida!
