(no subject)
Well, just when you think there's nothing to post about...
I'm pregnant. Again. Loren is ecstatic. He keeps walking around smiling and rubbing my stomach and calling me 'momma'. (As if I'm not already someone's mother...) But, I have to confess.. it's really very cute. He makes me smile and it makes it so much easier knowing he didn't freak out when I told him about the impending little stranger.
He has come to every doctor's meeting with me so far and today he was in the room while I was getting a little ride on the stirrups of love (girls, you know what I mean). His reaction and quote after it was all over: "Was it as good for you as it was for me?" *laughs*
All our friends are excited for us and so is his mom and step-dad. His dad is none too thrilled but it doesn't matter. We're going to be starting a family together and it's no use being depressed about it because that's no way to bring up a new life.
As for wedlock issues: not going to be an issue. We've set the date for November 5th at Grace Harvest Church. It's going to be close friends and family and a few people from our jobs. We've decided to have a 'fall' theme and go dressy/casual. It'll be great.
He doesn't want me to say that our marriage will be perfect. He doesn't want me to say we'll do our best. He wants me to say... we'll be fine. And in the long run... it might just be.
