Watched Land of the Dead today and I've got to say I was pretty impressed with Romero's work on this one. Albeit, there were a few scenes where I thought to myself, "Wait just one damned minute here... that zombie couldn't have learned to swim in a matter of minutes..." But the underlying political subplot that Romero slipped in there really made the movie worthwhile. It was also very refreshing to see the zombies at Savini's best.
