Crazy Week
Every once in a while, having a crazy week is good. It reminds you that you are alive! It keeps you on your toes! (and on your knees, praying you will have the strength to survive the chaos)
Monday
I bought a car! ^_^ I had a feeling that it would cost too much to fix the mini-van, so I found this car on Craig's List on Sunday night. I asked Jason to come with me. He's a good kid. It is a '97 Mercury Grand Marquis and its white and its huge and I paid about half of what its worth. I have named it Jon-Marque The Awesome, but I do not think that name will stick. It has also been called The Beach Mobile and a Diet Tank. It was kind of weirdly cool how everything seemed to work out nicely.
Tuesday
Awesome Day. After getting everything in order concerning the registering of the title of the car and the insuranceness stuff, it was high time to take the new car on the road for a much needed road trip vacation. We had a picnic lunch at Far West. I have learned not to watch boys eat. Finally found a hotel in Independence.
Wednesday
Roller Coasters FTW! We went to Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun. It was amazingly awesome happy fun like a kid running around an amusement park without adult supervision. Never had to wait in line. Words cannot describe how much fun I had there. The only downside was I had a slight headache the last hour or so we were there. *shrugs* That didn't stop me! After we went out to dinner at this pizza buffet place. Was alright. Then we returned to the motel and I learned how to play Magic. ^_^ I want to build my own deck.
Thursday
Adam-Ondi-Ahman. Possibly my favorite place in the world. (It is a tie between there and Boundary Waters) Can't remember what time I got home.
Friday
The day you return to work after a vacation is always the hardest. I was having hug withdrawals xD Chatted with this guy at work a little bit. He said we should hang out sometime, so I invited him to laser tag, but he ended up not going at the last minute. Oh wells. Laser tag was fun, even though I fail horribly at it. Stayed out way too late. >.<
Saturday
4.5 hours of sleep. Ugh. Starting to suspect that co-worker was attempting to flirt. Or perhaps I am overly cautious and over thinking things. He asked what I was doing tonight, I said my friend from Iowa is up here and we might do something with some peoples. He said "oh your lover is visiting?" I was like "Nooo we are just friends." "Friends with benefits?" he asked. I laughed and said something about unlimited supply of hugs. Then I came home and took a nap. And now is it midnight and I cannot sleep. I want to sleep! I do not like being tired at church. I like church. I want to be fully awake so I can pay attention and learn and rejoice in the Sabbath! I have a bruise on my arm. I need to pimp my ride. With knitting. I finally finished reading the Book of Alma! Yaay! ok sleepy time.
