final push diary: 10 days to go
sixty-five doors knocked on today, would've been a lot more if i wasn't such a basket case. in a combination of lifelong report card nemesis "doesn't use time wisely," ill-advised coffee at 11:00 p.m., and an inability to finish a fox biz 'script from the night before (just couldn't take it anymore, fox must have an in-house policy interrupting a guest every 4.7 seconds), i missed the morning canvass. the afternoon and evening brought lots of not homes -- our current lists are pared down to the non-answerers of non-answerers, the final redoubt of absence and obscurity. well, a few retouches sprinkled in, so had some nice moments with a few folks.
of course, note the time of this post, screwing meself again, then again, i've been a 5-1er (a.m. to p.m.) for a while now, but the onset of sunday morning bears the political yakfests which shall need 'scripting, so off to catch four or five winks.
