super big woohoo
so it looks like this chicago thing is gonna work out after all. but....gotta DRIVE to wisconsin first. straight thru. tomorrow morning. not so exciting. and its probably gonna be in a molester van. i cant drive those. but...at least maybe not a huge uhaul truck? anyways...so 26ish hour drive...then 3 days in chicago and fly back...i think. ive never been there so this should be great : ) i hope everything works out. cause i gotta get back in time tuesday to finish my glazing in class. or ill just have a bunch of unfinished clay pots laying around. i neeeed more time. oh well. maybe ill sign up for another class.
so....i cant decide if i want to put in for the specialist job at work. its still open so i might go for it. 6grand more than i make now? heck yeah. but definitly 2nd or 3rd shift. but then i get 5% or 10% shift diferential. so there another few grand. and a 5% raise in october. yep. that would be great. but i dont know if i can handle the whole problem of there not being any room left to put anyone in the jail and the job being to find someplace to put them. frustrating. oh well. so yep. possibility.
so i need to pick up james sis and go get lunch. and then go to AAA to get a map. and then pack. and hope it all works out.
