(no subject)
So .. as Chaz got her exam results back from UCL today I had the vague idea that maybe mine might be up on Portico - but they're doing 'essential maintenance' on it - so the whole system seems to be down! Argh!
Ok, my back is slightly sunburnt (despite 50+spf) because today was the hottest day in the history of the world. It was hitting 100 fahrenheit in the shade and I was the one out teaching in the burning sun. Horses were sweating up badly and kids were dropping out from heat exhaustion. Just had the cabin cookouts which mark the beginning of the session (sending us out into the woods to make fire and bond) cue skeeter bites and complaining kids. Proved myself as the firemaking master by setting mine up and helping another cabin.
The days are long hot and exhausting, and apart from the recent fun of session break and the sweet relief of a Starbuck banana coconut frapp. I work 16 hours a day and it all just makes me so exhausted.
