Ah yes, the probation period of my job. How's that going you ask....
Did my first perfect on-air broadcast today...thanks to the Parker System that I had invented myself earlier in the evening. I now officially kick ass.
Two more nights of running the local news, then I can head into producing the international news from monday, and if I'm as kick-ass as I was tonight...Then I have a full-time job to call my own.
My graduation ceremony is in London in December. I'll be there for three or four days only. I got a nice shocking surprise a couple of days ago when my ex Tara, who lives in Massachusetts, told me that after 7 years of not seeing each other she finally has enough money to afford the trip to London to meet me and the family.
I gotta admit that was one hell of a shock. I thought I'd never see her again, and that things were just gonna stick to internet chat from now on, but I'll finally get to see her and spend a few days with her when December rolls along. Wow.....seven years....It's nice to know some people still care after all that time to want to save up money to meet up somewhere. More than I can say for some people I know...*coughs at LJ!*
Moving on...and speaking of coughing. I'm ill....my head feels like a ton of bricks, my eyes feel like they're sponsored by Tabasco, my throat by Brillo Pads, my lungs by an empty frequency on your FM radio, and my back by Cadbury's Flake. Still....I feel alright.
I'm gonna go pop some Strepsils and go to bed now.
