Am I too picky? Do I have expectations this show will never be able to fill?

Agree completely about Kurt. Way to completely one-side him and box him in, Ryan. Jesus, we get it.

It’s not easy having an OTP that is this much superior to every other couple out there, but I’m sure I’ll manage, somehow.

BAHA! I KNOW RIGHT!?

Jesus H, their scene. Just everything.

Shouting at the TV when we saw Brittany's smile when Santana walked away, "JUST BE TOGETHER ALREADY PLEASE OMG." What a courtship these two are having.

Am I the only one that doesn't want Santana to be Maria? I want her to be Anita so fucking bad, dag nabbit. I want my favorite playing my favorite WSS character. I don't give a fuck how cliche that would be. If she get's Maria, I'm not saying I wouldn't be down with it, I'd take it. Finally. Santana get's some recognition for being a suitable lead, be it in ND or elsewhere. Santana would finally be a first choice yeah, yeah I got it. But, but, but...AMERICA AND A BOY LIKE THAT THO. I want a Naya/Lea duet badly, but if it's that one and the roles are switched around...mmm, yeah no. Again cliched as fuck dontcurr, but I can't picture anyone doing those two songs (IF) justice if it isn't Naya. I wants on them Naya vocals and I wants on them now. And, I also don't know if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but I do want Rachel to be cast as Maria. As cliched and obvious as that would be. They even brought up the whole, "she's Jewish which somehow helps with the whole Puerto Rican thing." Give me that obvious plot-line with everyone bitching about how Rachel always get's what she wants har har then having Kurt be the Maria to Blaine's Tony. Which, gag me.

I don't know if I want Santana in teh musical at all to be honest, I think her character would have more interesting stories outside of being caught up in the musical which seems to be an ongoing story spanning a lot of episodes. Plus I'm not overly familiar with the musical in itself (seen it once or twice) so I can't really remember any of the songs or characters that well, but gonna have to yt America and Boy Like That now. That said there is a small part of me that wants to see Santana in the musical as Maria only to see her freak out as she has to perform, "I feel pretty". Yes, I am unusually cruel.

Ryan is actually the best one to craft an episode together, he doesn't leave any holes in the plot and for the most part it is actually consistent. Only problem is his take on Kurt and Rachel are my least favourite versions of those characters.

Yeah, ya know, I'm not sure where the assumption of Santana being in/trying out for the play is even coming from. She doesn't have a solo in this weeks episode, and that episode 3 summary post that's been floating around didn't say anything about her auditioning. Maybe because it says the part of Anita is casted?? But, this whole "battle," or at least upcoming, over Maria kind of feels too much like the competition for prom queen last season, where none of the people vying for it will get it. So, if that's the case then maybe Santana will be the unexpected winner of Maria once the show comes back from it's mini-hiatus after 3x03. Definitely check out, "A Boy Like That," and just imagine anyone but her singing it. I think she'd be the best one to pull off the passion and frustration and betrayal that's needed.

Ha, that would be cruel if the, "I Feel Pretty," would be the movie version. The original stage version is "pretty and witty and bright." But, they wouldn't do that song again anyways. I wouldn't think, I mean I don't see them repeating anything.

Yeah, I'm not quite sure where it came from either. I've gotten so tangled up in spoilers and foilers and speculation that I feel downright dizzy.

Oh, Santana could make for a very cool Anita. I think I could like this.
