Lets start this off with a personal recap. I am an optimistic Santanacentric angst-whore. The following musings are my own truth based on that. Just know I don't even try to be objective. There is no gain in it for me. My pleasure lies in subjective speculation. Hopefully you'll find a little bit of entertainment in that as well

If you’ve never had to come out you have no right to judge Santana’s behaviour. If you have come out you still have no right to judge her.
THANK YOU for this. I've seen so many comments to the effect of "Just come out, already!" and I just want to metaphorically shake those people.

I thought Sexy was bad. I actually think this managed to surpass that. Sigh. So good. So damn good.

Still can't believe it. Trying to cut down on rewatching the scene, cause I feel like I could easily watch it to pieces. Pretty much flailed for hours after first watch :D

Yeah. I am so impressed by what they have created and the way in which Naya is bringing this to life.

I'm actually not entirely sure she doesn't understand the consequences of her actions at this point. Back in Duets I agree, she never understood it would almost cost her Brittany. But by now I think she has enough insight into how badly she's hurt Brittany and the fact that her fears might actually destroy their chances. Because that pos-Songbird hug felt so much like a goodbye. Like she knew her inability to come out could actually result in losing Brittany. And the intense pain on her face during Revert Locker also points to that she knows. Far too well what this might do to them.
So much pain. So good. :D
And thank you.
