Wow...so I'm FINALLY 15. I won't be getting my permit for like a week or so probably...but oh well. Thanks for letting me borrow the manual Rachel and Andrea. My birthday was really cool thanks to Elise, Rachel, and Andrea. They came over at around 2 and had cake and ice cream (lol...good times, lots of laughs), then we left to go see Spider Man 2. WHOA it's an awesome movie. I like it a lot better than the first. After the movie...everybody had left and we went to the front of the theater and danced to the music. Gooooood times. I also saw Lauren Nolen and Kyra Key in the bathroom after the movie...which was cool. I miss my school buddies...but not school. Then we all came back to my house and watched Eurotrip (Scotty doesn't know...HAHA). That was a lot of fun..had pizza and stuff. We ordered like three boxes on some special deal so I should have enough pizza to last me a while. They all left around 8 or so...and I've just been kind of sitting around doing nothing ever since. Overall it was a really great birthday...thanks Rachel, Andrea, and Elise. You're awesome.
I got some calls from some people who are really important to me. First my dad called...then Adam....then Russell...and finally MEREDITH! My dad was talking about how all day he told people his daughter turned 15 today...it was really sweet. My dad is a really cool guy. He told me last night about the look on my mothers face when I was born...about how she had never looked happier. Her face was just glowing. I laughed and said "Well, what about Adam? Was her face just shriveled up in disgust or something when she first looked at him?" lol...my dad's response was something along the lines of how painful the first birth is and she was exhausted...the extreme happy, glowing face came a few hours later. Which is understandable...gah labor scares me...but I know it's worth it. WAY worth it.
Then Adam and Russell called...which was a surpise. They usually don't call me on my birthday but just send cards instead. This year, however, I got the "Now-the-minute-you-get-a-boyfriend-I-want-to-know-so-I-can-threaten-his-life" speech. My dad gave me a similar speech the night before...they all asked if I had a boyfriend and I said no...they all said "Good. The only boys you need in your life are your brothers and your daddy." Ha...typical.
Then Meredith called...we got to talk for like 3 minutes but it was well worth it. If there is anyone who can make me feel special on my birthday, it's her. Best friends have that effect ya know?
So yeah...overall I had a really good day. Good times with old friends that will have to happen again and again :-).
