My Target Addiction...
So... I just got back from Target. I used to go there every week, but now it's turning into a once a month thing. I'm seriously addicted to buying things with the little red clearance tags on them. I used to joke about it, but tonight, after my trip... I realized how out of hand it gets. For example.... let's talk about the things I just put away under my bathroom sink.
Toothpaste was on clearance, it was buy two get one free, but they marked it down to the price of one, so it was buy one get two free, so I did. Softsoap was on sale for $1, so I bought two. Deodorant was on sale, buy two get two free. So as I get down on the floor to look at the mess that my cabinet has become, I'm amazed by the stuff I see.
Three unopened bottles of Head and Shoulders.
Two unopened bottles of Finesse.
One unopened bottle of Pert Plus.
One unopened bottle of Cinnamon Crest.
Three unopened tubes of Vanilla Mint Crest (I'm a Colgate person.. but look what clearances do to me!)
Eight unopened assorted scents of Bath and Body Works hand soaps.
Three unopened assorted bottles of Soft Soap hand soap.
Three unopened assorted bottles of Soft Soap body wash.
Eight unopened assorted scents of Degree deodorant.
You get the idea now, right? I mean, all of that, plus my lotions, hair products, feminine products, cleaning products, extra toothbrushes, etc... I'm kind of depressed about it all. *sigh*
I also confirmed my payment in full for my student loans. On Tuesday, the payment should clear. I will be $16,169.81 poorer. *sigh* It could've been worse. I mean, I did have a job and paid some out of pocket while in school. Why'd the interest rate have to go up so high? Now... I just feel the last year of my life, the last year of living so thriftily was wasted. Gah. When can I save again? Definitely not this paycheck. I had to pay my $600 in rent and my car insurance is due at the end of this month, that's another $600. I need to find a sugar daddy and fast! Any one have any leads? ;) Anyway, I'm smart up here *taps temple* I'll be fine. Just wanted a mini-rant.
