Or rather, let's not.
Or at least I won't.
I guess I can chalk it up to the writer's strike, but there's not one new show this year that I'm interested in watching. With the possible exception of Life On Mars. But since it's adapted from a British show, I have a feeling I'd rather do myself a favor and just watch the original on DVD. Don't get me wrong, I'm all giddy that my TiVo is going to have new episodes of returning shows like Chuck, Supernatural, Pushing Daisies, The Simpsons, The Office, 30 Rock, Heroes etc. But not one of the brand spankin' NEW shows look any good. At least that's how I see things.
>90210 - I never watched the original Beverly Hills 90210, so I have no desire at all to see the new installment.
>Crusoe - hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
>Do Not Disturb - Love me some Niecy Nash, but I'll stick with reruns of Reno 911! instead.
>Eleventh Hour - Uh no.
>Fringe - Eh. I didn't really get into X-Files back in the day and since Lost has disappointed me over the past few seasons, I can't say I'm excited about another offering from J.J. Abrams.
>Kath & Kim - Even at 1/2 hour I don't think I could handle it.
>Knight Rider - The two hour movie sucked ass, so I'm not about to waste an hour a week on this trash.
>Life On Mars - As I said before. Kind of intrigued but would rather watch the original UK version.
>The Mentalist - Isn't this the same premise of Psyche? Speaking of a good show that I don't really watch all that much.
>My Own Worst Enemy - Yeah right.
>Privileged - I think not. Yes I was a huge Gilmore Girls fanatic, but I do actually have testicles thank you very much.
Am I missing anything? I mean other than the reality and game shows that I don't watch on the basis of not being at all entertaining.
Guess I'm going to have plenty of room on my TiVo this year.
Fingers crossed for fall of 2009...
