Update proper
So, allow me to recount the goings on of the last few weeks for you:
Paddys wasn't too bad - the fact that we were home by 11pm and there was an explosive finale notwithstanding - so I chalk that up as a success. Doug's advice to Dan that, as time goes on, Paddys becomes a day to drink with friends instead of drinking everything with your friends is, I think, the way it's going to be from here on out.
School is school - I finished my Kursk essay two Fridays ago and I have an essay on the Historiography of the Second World War due on Monday. Oðinn and Bragi willing, I'll have these guys finished, marked at 80 or so, and snag high 70s or low 80s on my exams to get the hell away from Brock, one way or the other.
No word yet from UofM. Considering that they had a fire on campus the other day, I'll give 'em a pass until the end of next week before I start really freaking out about the acceptance/rejection letter.
Work is, well, work. I have a meeting with a Grand High Muckity-Muck on Tuesday. We'll see how that goes for me.
Apart from that, there's not much else that's been going on. My life has been a whirlwind of nothing, yet I feel vaguely overwhelmed by the whole of it*. Which is odd, but what can you do?
*The feeling of being overwhelmed is stemming from the fact that I'm literally twiddling my thumbs waiting for notification from UofM. In or not, I'll know what I'll have to do at that point.
