A few things:

Thing the first: If I die of Old Age (hah!), consider this to be a binding request and - unless superseded by a more recent request by me - have my body stuffed and mounted to look like it is in vicious mortal combat with this and put the diorama in the front hall of my children's home. With an inscription reading "K. James McMullen, killing and killed by the first recorded Xenomorph on Earth" Now that would be epic.

Thing the second: White Rabbit - the Jefferson Airplane song - has never, to my knowledge, been used to promote a sub-par product. Which means that, if Microsoft keeps with the tradition, Lost Odyssey will be amazing. It already looks real pretty. The hitch? I'd have to buy an X-Box. My solution? Read reviews. Discover that Hironobu Sakaguchi, the man who created Final Fantasy, produced the game. Also, that it's got ratings between 75-90%, which - really - isn't too surprising. Now I need to try this game. If you have experience with it, let me know.

Thing the third: Showering has, again, given me strange new ideas; hybrid lift vehicles with a top rigid cell that has controlled helium inputs and aerodynamic lift being generated by wings up top.

Thing the fourth: I have the home-repair/construction bug. There are bookshelves I put on the wall when we moved in that need straightening and another set that needs reinforcing, as well as a set that could really use some bookends. If anyone needs anything built or plans for something, let me know. At this point, I'm willing to buy the lumber and build an entire living room set; chairs, couch, entertainment unit, coffee table, the works. Shouldn't take more'n a weekend or so - upholstering will be time consuming, but it's no big deal. This means, though, that once I get paid again - or,more accurately, once I get my tax return - to the Home Depot I go! I need to buy a level, some more wall-rails, brackets, and so on. Also, it'll give me an excuse to look at materials to make the scale Fylgja model. Speaking of, electrics that provide the scale of power I need are fair expensive. This will prove to be an... interesting project.

Thing the fifth: I need to go to sleep. Gonna read my Friends-page then crash. Night all.
