Changes in the online life of Jim!
So, I'm going to be taking a hiatus from the Instant Messaging stuff for a while. How long? I don't know. Why? I have my reasons, but mostly because I've realised that, even with my local friends, I've become more comfortable talking to them via the computer than face to face or over the phone.
And Mighty Jim does not like that.
So, the IM programs are out. For at least six months.
What does that mean to you people and me?
Well, it means this: You can call, text, write or email me at any of the alternative contact means I have, all of which are under a friends cut after this for security purposes (See? I told you people who make the cut get access to all the goods ^_^) You can also swing by the apartment if you're in town pretty much whenever you please. Give me a call 5 minutes before hand so I can throw on a shirt and to make sure I'm home, but still.
Also, to everyone, I'd like to invite you all to my Apocalypse Party. Not an Apocalypse Party like Terry's, no, but rather a real, honest to goodness, start of the 14th Cycle of the Mayan Stone Calendar Apocalypse party. 20-22nd December, 2012. There will be food, drink, and places to crash. I will have more info, obviously, closer to 0-Hour, but for now, the plan is that it will be at mine and Emily's house. Where that will be, well, that's up for debate, but you'll know by then.
