catching up.....sort of
I'm back from Texas and sick as a dog, which is unfortunate but was kind of expected. I've been putting out 60 hours a week and then driving time and it is all worth it because now I can enjoy myself in Canada! I leave thursday and will be back Sunday and then I will be free until I start classes.
Texas is difficult to explain for a variety of reasons. There were so many surreal experiences and people and situations that have all blended together and which I could never accurately portray. The ladies I went with were fabulous (with the exception of one and at least she gave me some comedic relief when I didn't want to stab her) and we all got along well. We got lost a lot the first few days and were experts by the fifth day. We toured Austin, San Marcos and San Antonio and the spaces in between. We did Hard Rock, The Alamo, The River Walk, Coyote Ugly and the biggest outlet mall ever. We usually spent all of our days at work and then grabbed dinner together and crashed around 11-midnight. On our last night we closed our favorite bar/restaurant and stumbled back home. There are a million pictures and videos and injokes.
And now I'm home and reality sucks a little and I would go back to sweltering Texas in a minute.
But, hey, vacation is soon and then school and moving to a new place. Who wants to help? I'll feed and liquor you!
