You call that lazy? Nowadays I point to something on the menu and say: "That please". I'm contemplating making my own lunch when I get back home, but I'm not sure I can beat the €2,95 ones in our canteen.
If you saw how sad I looked having to even roast the broccolini, you'd see how lazy I really was! Yeah, it's hard when there's prepped food that's just as cheap (or cheaper!) nearby. Here that's not the case. Yesterday I got some roasted potatoes and some broccoli rabe with a box of green tea and it was $9.
It's called Follow Your Heart! <3 <3 And the package proclaims "It Melts"! Which is both funny, hopeful and sad. It's the cheese my local pizza place uses to make pizza.
I'm not vegan but who could resist with branding like that? Most products geared towards vegans have awesome names, have you noticed?
$9 for lunch is a lot though, easy to beat if you DIY. My €3 includes unlimited drinks and two pieces of fruit a day, on top of a decent buffet. I'm really pretty sure I couldn't beat that unless I ate pb&j sandwiches every day.
