I signed up for Wardrobe Refashion last month and to-date have not purchased anything new. Which is the glass half-full part. However, I also haven't "refashioned" anything either despite intentions to the contrary. Half-empty!
This is my call-myself-out task list I am planning:
- revamp '80s cinch belt to have a non-'80s looking buckle
- make 2-3 pairs of ugly thrift store dresss pants into skirts
- bring all the stuff I purchased too long to the tailor b/c there is no way I will get through it myself
- make fitted couch cover or pay someone to do so
- make my ill-fitting jeans into skinnies vis Craftster tute
- make Blueprint pattern straight dress to be belted (ned ribbon/rope stuff) - similar to BI dress:
(it looks cuter in the store, belted w. a red belt - more fitted)
But seriously. How easy would that dress be to make in a solid color?!
