Dr. Bronner's Magic Soapbox movie
This is playing @ Cinema Village and is the most charming and earnest movie I have seen in a very long time.
If you use Dr. Bronner's or wonder what the label is about or just would like to see some magic happen, this movie is well worth it. I used to use Dr. Bronner's religiously at one point but then swore it off because the peppermint stuff is not great with dishes and had always wondered about Sal's Suds as an alternative to Ecover.
However, after seeing how honest (fair wage, 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles, execs cap pay rates, pushing for organic regulations on personal products) and charming (the openness of the exes and the causes they support - as well as the % of profits they put into causes) the company is, I will probably commit to DB stuff exclusively.
I do not think I have hearted a company more.
