An age of domestic violence?
I find this Gabrielle Giffords assassination attempt and the killing of innocent bystanders at a mall in Arizona to be particularly disturbing. Once the public discourse is affected, because people fear for their lives, we have really lost an essential piece of democracy in America.
I got a lot of cranked out anonymous hate mail when I was running for office and when I was on the Dane County Board. These letters were cause for concern. I think I even remember turning one over to the Sheriff, but I never felt endangered.
I wonder how that concealed carry, gun-owner's rights is working for Congress now?
I am SO not looking forward to the Republican regime in Wisconsin legalizing concealed carry here.
