One More New Year's on the road

I'm trying to psych myself up for it, but I'd rather be somewhere on Halsted Street in Chicago or worse. But alas, being gay in a big city costs money--of which I have none. So tonight it's the road for me. Driving from 3 p.m. until 3 a.m. Then on Saturday is the Rose Bowl, so we expect the bar crowd on New Year's Day to be unusually busy. Finally, on Sunday, like 40,000 people will be coming back to Madison from the Rose Bowl. So here goes like 36 hours of taxi driving followed by three weeks of seasonal depression.

Red Bull, anyone?
