There comes a time in every ljers life where they feel they can no longer post. It's a type of bloggers lull, often occuring in the time between when he or she graduates high school and prepares for the adventures of college. I'm pretty sure my lull started sometime in November--when I had to actually DO my college apps instead of looking them over every few days, when the MUSICALS started to take over my life, when I accidentally joined Chaos, when I started to go to Digital for my internship, and when I finally started dating Patrick. I became what some might call "busy", and what some others might call "mentally insane". I would find myself not going online for days at a time, once a whole week. Needless to say, I was not able to keep up with the livejournal world, much less my spam mail.

Now that it's Summer, however, I DO have free time, and I have about three people that I'm actually keeping in touch with. To the point where my sister has a game going where she guesses who's texting me. ("Okay, it's Patr--NO! Nel--NO! Dan! It's Dan!" *crosses fingers*) It's surprising how often she's right.

Anyways, point is, it's time for a change, and I actually have time to make it. But first, the essential history.

So, at this point, I've had my beloved eljay for 2 years, 11 days, 2 hours, and 23 minutes. Over that time, I have accumulated 134 friends, lost 14, and joined 65 communities on topics ranging from scotland to the barrymore family to pinup icons. This will be my mere 185th post, but it

Hell, I paid five bucks for this thing. That's how old this is.

I remember...when I was a youth...you couldn't just "get" an livejournal account...you had to have a friend who could give you a "code"...codes were rarer than hen's teeth...

Anyways...

Long story short, I'm switching to a new livejournal. I'm not gonna delete this one, of course. It holds such dear memories as the famed all-nighter monkey quiz post of 2003. Priceless.

So, yeah.

Bye.
