My Names Jeanie: okay, so, after christmas, with my newfound abundance of money, i am going to buy the dvd of the once upon a mattress remake that i was just viewing on tv
My Names Jeanie: which was awesome
omgitsamuggle: it got a really good review
My Names Jeanie: for three reasons
omgitsamuggle: that chick, that chick, and that other chick?
My Names Jeanie: shhh...i'm not there yet
omgitsamuggle: haha ok
My Names Jeanie: 1) it's a really old musical that's not old enough to be standard, but not new enough to be pop culture that originally starred carol burnett, and is re-starring carol burnett
My Names Jeanie: 2) tracey ullmann is god. and 45. and god.
My Names Jeanie: 3) i am slowly being convinced that zooey deschanel and i are meant to be best friends. mostly because we're the same person, except she can sing.
My Names Jeanie: so yes, basically, that chick, that chick, and that other chick
omgitsamuggle: heheheh
My Names Jeanie: and i'm gonna make this an lj post now

I did real Christmas shopping yesterday. I got mad at my mother cuz she only gave me $140 for the 40 people I was planning on buying gifts for. So I just got stuff for my family and a few other people, out of necessity.

also, this is magic. thanks, Caroline (alaiyo).

and for my final section of this abnormally well thought out lj post:

Things I Don't Tell Ms. Sigman For Fear of Losing My Wicked Sweet Internship
by Jeanie

--The day I went to interview Vinny, Boss/Owner/President of Company/Former Firefighter/All Around Large Italian Man, shouted "MY BALLS HURT!" much to the dismay of his wife, Alysha, Co-Owner/Person in Charge of Not Firing Me.
--I'm pretty sure Alysha is the only person in the building with a college degree. From BU, nonetheless. Only thing is, it's a B.A. in Biology...quoi?
--The one time I've gone out on a real show, a) it was at the house of a wealthy Jewish family (honestly, Bar Mitzvah party at home? who does that?) b) Vinny and Alysha left me, alone, with one other guy from our company, who I'd just met and was notorious for being unreliable, plus the Hispanic guys putting up the tent. Little bit sketchy. At least it was in Potomac.
--I'm pretty sure Jamie, 21, the one person I work with the most, smokes pot. Actually, I'm completely certain that she does. I'm just not sure how frequently.
--Phil, 27, who works upstairs, sometimes, hits on me...a lot. Last week, he smelled my hair. It was kinda weird. But now we're friends on Friendster, so it's okay. :)
--I am soooo glad I'm underage.
--Couple weeks ago, on the 9th, there wasn't much to do. Scratch that, there wasn't anything to do. So I organized the Gaff tape. It took me an hour. The pile of black gaff was taller than my chin. Pretty sweet. Then I swept the entire warehouse. I don't think it'd ever been swept, ever.
--Last Friday, there was even less to do. I cleaned the bathroom. When Alysha came down, she said, quote, "Oh. You're really cleaning." And, later, "I don't think it's ever been this clean." Mind you, when I was done, I really wasn't satisfied with the cleanliness, and, if you've seen my room you'll understand, that's saying a lot.
--Also on Friday, a little after hours, like 10 minutes, Travis, one of the independent contractors, got into a conversation with Vinny about some guy that hadn't paid him and how he wasn't doing anything about it, "and you're Italian and everything?", etc. The conversation continued and Travis told a story about how he was standing next to a guy who got shot. "What'd you do?" "I ran, bitch!" and so on. So somehow this conversation climaxed into Vinny pulling a .45 out of his truck. "And that's my cue to leave!"--quoth Patrick, warehouse manager and all-around lighting guru.

Uh, yeah, that's it. Still the coolest place ever to work. Like, really.
